The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) and the visiting Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA), witnessed Hollister's baseball team knock off Salinas by a count of 5-2.

The Haybalers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Gatos for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Hollister will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Leland (San Jose, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Salinas drops to 4-3 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Clovis East (Clovis, CA) to clash with the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Timberwolves go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Clovis East won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Justin Garza (Fresno, CA)
