New York High School Softball - Lake Placid bounces Wells
April 27, 2023: Wells, NY 12190 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY) and the host Wells Indians (Wells, NY), witnessed Lake Placid's softball squad prevail over Wells by a count of 20-5.
The Bombers now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Crown Point for a Section 7 Mountain Valley match on Friday, April 28. Lake Placid will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Wells moves to 0-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Willsboro Central (Willsboro, NY) to face the Warriors in a Section 7 Mountain Valley match on Monday, May 1. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 1-4. Willsboro Central lost 18-10 in their recent league match against Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY)
