Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) and the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), saw Castro Valley's baseball squad knock off Piedmont by a count of 4-0.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill battle, on Wednesday, May 3. Castro Valley will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 11-11 record after their 5-4 league win over Berkeley (Berkeley, CA).
