Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 23-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Delta advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles host Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN) to battle the Golden Bears in a Hoosier Heritage match on Tuesday, April 29. The Golden Bears come into the match with a record of 6-6. Shelbyville won 5-2 in their recent non-league match against Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN)

The Bearcats now have a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monroe Central for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Muncie Central will battle a Golden Bears squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 7-9.
