The Norwell Knights softball squad (Ossian, IN), was routed 9-4 in Monday's league contest with the host Leo Lions (Leo, IN)

With the triumph, Leo improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Lions host Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN) to face the Chargers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Chargers enter the contest with a record of 8-1. Carroll won 11-2 in their recent non-league contest against NorthWood (Nappanee, IN)

The Knights now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Bellmont for a Northeast Eight contest on Wednesday, April 30. Norwell will face a Braves squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN). The Braves record now stands at 5-5.
