The Rensselaer Central Bombers softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Twin Lakes Indians to 8 in the Bombers league win on Monday.

The Bombers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. Rensselaer Central will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Twin Lakes moves to 5-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Benton Central (Oxford, IN) to confront the Bison in a Hoosier battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Bison come into the battle with a record of 2-7. Benton Central lost 12-0 in their recent non-league battle against North Newton (Morocco, IN)
