The La Porte Slicers softball team (La Porte, IN), was routed 14-2 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN)

Coming up next, the Red Devils encounter the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads test, on Tuesday, May 2. Lowell will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 10-1 league win over Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).

The Slicers (9-9) will now prepare for their test against West Central (Francesville, IN). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, West Central topped Tri-County (Wolcott, IN), 14-2, in a league battle.
