Virginia High School Soccer - Broadway knocks off Rockbridge County
April 29, 2025: Broadway, VA 22815 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) and the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), saw Broadway's soccer team knock off Rockbridge County by a tally of 5-2.
Next, the Gobblers face the Rocktown Raptors (Harrisonburg, VA) in a Valley game, on Friday, May 2. Broadway will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Raptors enter the game with a 7-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
The Wildcats (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks enter the Valley game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Harrisonburg held off East Rockingham (Elkton, VA), 7-0, in a league game.
