The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) and the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), saw Rolling Meadows's baseball team gain a win over Elk Grove by a tally of 12-5.

The Mustangs (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Hersey held off Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Grenadiers face the Barrington Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 1. Elk Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 12-9 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Jacobs (Algonquin, IL).
