The Minisink Valley Warriors triumphed over the host Goshen Central Gladiators softball squad by a count of 10-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) in a Orange County Division II challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Minisink Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 6-5 league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY).

The Gladiators (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Monticello (Monticello, NY). The Panthers enter the Orange County Division II challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Monticello was routed by Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY), 21-2, in a league challenge.
