The Minisink Valley Warriors got by the visiting Valley Central Vikings softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a Orange County Division II challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Minisink Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Dragons go into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY).

The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Wizards go into the Orange County Division II challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Washingtonville was nudged by Goshen Central (Goshen, NY), 21-0, in a league challenge.
