In Wednesday's league match, the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles softball team scored a tight 7-1 win over the Parkersburg Big Reds.

The Black Eagles (10-15) will now prepare for their match against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Red Devils come into the non-league match with a 12-11 record. In their last match, Oak Hill was routed by Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV), 10-6, in a non-league match.
