West Virginia High School Softball - South Charleston topped by St. Albans
April 1, 2025: St. Albans, WV 25177 St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), 13-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, St. Albans upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Red Dragons travel to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV) to play the Knights in a Mountain State game on Friday, April 4. The Knights enter the game with a record of 8-1. Cabell Midland won 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Ironton (Ironton, OH)
The Black Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hill for a game on Wednesday, April 2. South Charleston will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-3.
