Maine High School Softball - Thornton Academy can't hold off Berwick Academy
May 1, 2024: South Berwick, ME 03908 The Berwick Academy Bulldogs softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Berwick Academy moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to clash with the Scots in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Scots come into the game with a record of 2-5. Bonny Eagle lost 7-3 in their recent league game against Cheverus (Portland, ME)
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 2. Thornton Academy will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Deering (Portland, ME).
