The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) and the visiting Garrett Railroaders (Garrett, IN), saw Fairfield's baseball team gain a win over Garrett by a tally of 6-0.

The Falcons (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against LaVille (Lakeville, IN). The Lancers enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, LaVille was overwhelmed by Bremen (Bremen, IN), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Railroaders face the Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN) in a Northeast Corner battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Garrett will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 8-4 non-league win over West Noble (Ligonier, IN).
