Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), 12-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Blue Mountain improves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hamburg (Hamburg, PA) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 16-3. Hamburg won 6-3 in their recent league game against Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA)

The Crimson Tide now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they host North Schuylkill for a Schuylkill I game on Monday, May 5. Pottsville will play a Spartans squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-1.
