The Monroe Central Golden Bears triumphed over the host Muncie Central Bearcats baseball squad by a score of 15-9 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Golden Bears battle the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 5. Monroe Central will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Patriots come into the outing with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN).

The Bearcats (2-12) will now prepare for their outing against Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Indians come into the North Central outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Anderson was overwhelmed by Western (Russiaville, IN), 14-8, in a non-league outing.
