California High School Baseball - Cleveland nips Taft
May 2, 2025: Reseda, CA 91335 The Cleveland Cavaliers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Taft Toreadors to 6 in the Cavaliers league win on Friday.
The Cavaliers now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatsworth for a test on Monday, May 5. Cleveland will play a Chancellors team coming off a 6-6 league El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Chancellors record now stands at 16-5.
With the defeat, Taft drops to 5-17 on the year. The Toreadors travel to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA) to play the Highlanders in a test on Monday, May 5. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 5-20. Granada Hills Charter won 11-1 in their recent league test against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA)
