Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH), 15-5 in a league challenge.

The Golden Gophers now sport a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central challenge on Friday, May 12.

With the loss, Hardin Northern falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Polar bears host Arlington (Arlington, OH) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 1-6.
