The Palatine Pirates triumphed over the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Palatine will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 15-3 league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
