Kentucky High School Softball - Franklin County edges Western Hills

May 6, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) and the visiting Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), observed Franklin County's softball team get by Western Hills by a tally of 4-2.

The Flyers (15-6) will now prepare for their bout against Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-10 record. In their last bout, Madison Southern by Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 16-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 8. Western Hills will attempt to advance on its 8-17 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 20-5 record after their 8-2 non-league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY).
