Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN), 22-19 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Austin upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to North Harrison (Ramsey, IN) to play the Cougars in a Mid-Southern game on Thursday, May 8. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 8-5. North Harrison won 10-0 in their recent league game against Salem (Salem, IN)

The Pacers now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Clarksville for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Switzerland County will play a Generals squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Crothersville (Crothersville, IN). The Generals record now stands at 7-6.
