In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Switzerland County Pacers softball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Southwestern Rebels.

The Pacers (4-13) will now prepare for their match against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 10-13 record.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN) in a Ohio River Valley match, on Friday, May 23. Southwestern will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 1-17 record after their 14-5 league loss to Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN).
