The South Spencer Rebels softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Pike Central Chargers to 4 in the Rebels league win on Wednesday.

The Rebels now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Harrison for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. South Spencer will confront a Warriors team coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Evansville Central (Evansville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Pike Central moves to 1-9 on the season. The Chargers travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a Pocket battle on Saturday, May 10. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Mt. Vernon lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)
