In Saturday's league game, the visiting Covington Trojans baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Riverton Parke Panthers.

The Trojans (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Terre Haute South Vigo held off Marshall (Marshall, IL), 12-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Panthers face the Parke Heritage Wolves (Rockville, IN) in a Wabash River game, on Tuesday, May 13. Riverton Parke will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 19-7 league loss to Seeger (West Lebanon, IN).
