The Piedmont Hills Pirates nipped the host Homestead Mustangs baseball squad by a score of 11-10 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Pirates encounter the Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) in a Santa Teresa outing, on Monday, May 12. Piedmont Hills will attempt to advance on its 17-8 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 15-9 record after their 5-4 league win over Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA).

The Mustangs (11-14) will now prepare for their outing against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Eagles enter the De Anza outing with a 18-7 record. In their last outing, Los Altos edged Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 8-6, in a non-league outing.
