New Jersey High School Softball - Columbia bounces Montclair
May 10, 2025: Maplewood, NJ 07040 In Saturday's league match, the host Columbia Cougars softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Montclair Mounties.
The Cougars (14-3) will now prepare for their match against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Panthers come into the SEC - American match with a 17-2 record. In their last match, Cedar Grove nipped Nutley (Nutley, NJ), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Mounties battle the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. Montclair will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record.
