The Monroe Central Golden Bears softball squad (Parker City, IN), was edged 14-13 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN)

With the triumph, Union City improves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to face the Golden Falcons in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. The Golden Falcons enter the contest with a record of 8-5. Winchester Community won 13-3 in their recent non-league contest against Wapahani (Selma, IN)

The Golden Bears now hold a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Northeastern for a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. Monroe Central will face a Knights squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Knights record now stands at 7-5.
