In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Homestead Spartans softball team scored a nice 14-1 win over the Adams Central Flying Jets.

The Spartans (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 9-12 record. In their last match, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers was routed by Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN), 4-3, in a league match.
