In Monday's league outing, the visiting Covington Buccs softball team scored a nice 18-5 win over the Riverside Pirates.

Coming up next, the Buccs battle the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 25-4 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 14-10 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Botkins (Botkins, OH).

The Pirates (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against Ansonia (Ansonia, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Ansonia was routed by Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
