Covington Buccs (Covington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH), 10-2 in a league challenge.

The Buccs now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Covington will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Stebbins (Riverside, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Riverside falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Milton-Union (West Milton, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-2.
