Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lowville for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 17. Thousand Islands will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, General Brown falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Watertown (Watertown, NY) to face the Cyclones in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16.
