New York High School Softball - Thousand Islands holds off South Lewis
May 7, 2024: Clayton, NY 13624 The Thousand Islands Vikings the visiting South Lewis Falcons softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Vikings (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Beavers go into the non-league battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Beaver River nudged Belleville Henderson Central (Belleville, NY), 10-2, in a non-league battle.
The Falcons now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Creek for a Section 3 Frontier C battle on Wednesday, May 8. South Lewis will meet a Comets squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Alexandria Central (Alexandria Bay, NY). The Comets record now stands at 10-1.
