New York High School Softball - Indian River bounces Carthage
May 15, 2025: Carthage, NY 13619 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Indian River Wolves softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Carthage Comets.
The Wolves (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Lowville (Lowville, NY). The Red Raiders come into the Section 3 Frontier B match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Lowville was routed by General Brown (Dexter, NY), 4-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier C match, on Friday, May 16. Carthage will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 9-1 record after their 4-2 league loss to Lowville (Lowville, NY).
