The Gibson Southern Titans softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Pike Central Chargers to 5 in the Titans league win on Saturday.

The Titans now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vincennes Lincoln for a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. Gibson Southern will confront a Alices team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN). The Alices record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Pike Central moves to 1-13 on the season. The Chargers travel to Evansville North (Evansville, IN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19.
