The Monticello Mustangs softball squad (Charlottesville, VA), was routed 9-2 in Monday's league contest with the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA)

With the triumph, Orange County improves its record to 18-5 on the year.

The Mustangs now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Charlottesville for a Jefferson contest on Thursday, May 21. Monticello will face a Black Knights squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 4-15.
