Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 7-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Tell City upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Marksmen travel to Perry Central (Leopold, IN) to play the Commodores in a non-league game on Monday, May 26. The Commodores enter the game with a record of 11-9.

The Chargers now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Northeast Dubois for a non-league game on Thursday, May 22. Pike Central will play a Jeeps squad coming off a 15-11 non-league win over Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Jeeps record now stands at 13-5.
