The Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) baseball trounced the host Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI), 6-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Big Reds now own a 18-14 record. They take the field next when they host Dakota for a Macomb Area - Red challenge on Saturday, May 31.

With the defeat, Grosse Pointe North drops to 8-25 on the year. The Norsemen travel to Romeo (Romeo, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 27. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Romeo won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Oxford (Oxford, MI)
