In Thursday's non-league bout, the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) baseball squad edged the visiting Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI), by a tally of 3-2.

Next up, the Big Reds encounter the Fraser Ramblers (Fraser, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Chippewa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Ramblers enter the bout with a 10-11 record after their 7-1 league win over Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI).
