Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Rockets now sport a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord-Carlisle for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 28.

With the loss, Wilmington falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 30.
