May 31, 2024: Gilbertville, IA 50634 Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Dons now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Janesville for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 31. Don Bosco will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Osage falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Green devils host Kee (Lansing, IA) to face the Kee Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. The Kee Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Kee lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA)
