Iowa High School Softball - Osage topped by Newman Catholic
May 20, 2024: Mason City, IA 50401 The Newman Catholic Knights softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Osage Green Devils to 1 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Newman Catholic moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights host Algona (Algona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 21. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-1. Algona lost 8-2 in their recent non-league game against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA)
In their next game, the Green Devils play the Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA) in a Top of Iowa-East game, on Wednesday, May 22. Osage will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
