May 22, 2024: Greene, IA 50636 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Newman Catholic Knights (Mason City, IA) and the host North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), witnessed Newman Catholic's softball squad tip North Butler by a count of 6-2.
The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Forest City for a non-league match on Thursday, May 23. Newman Catholic will face a Indians squad coming off a 11-6 league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.

The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-0. Central Springs won 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA)
