Iowa High School Softball - Woodward-Granger bounces Belle Plaine
May 31, 2025: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 The Woodward-Granger Hawks (Woodward, IA) softball routed the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), 10-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Hawks now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panorama for a West Central outing on Monday, June 2. Woodward-Granger will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Belle Plaine moves to 0-5 on the season. The Plainsmen host English Valleys (North English, IA) to encounter the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar outing on Monday, June 2. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 0-2. English Valleys lost 11-7 in their recent league outing against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA)
