Iowa High School Softball - Davis County bounces Winfield-Mt. Union
June 7, 2025: Bloomfield, IA 52537 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Davis County Mustangs softball team scored a nice 14-5 victory over the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves.
The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the South Central match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont gained a win over West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 7-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, June 9. Winfield-Mt. Union will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Hawks go into the match with a 8-2 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA).
