June 12, 2025: Mediapolis, IA 52637 The Mediapolis Bulldogs softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Van Buren County for a SE IA Super - South battle on Friday, June 13. Mediapolis will confront a Warriors team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Winfield-Mt. Union moves to 1-11 on the season. The Wolves travel to Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA) to confront the Lions in a SE IA Super - North battle on Friday, June 13. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 7-5. Lone Tree lost 8-2 in their recent non-league battle against West Burlington (West Burlington, IA)
