June 9, 2025: Wapello, IA 52653 In Monday's league test, the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA), by a tally of 8-2.
Next, the Indians clash with the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, June 10. Wapello will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the test with a 9-3 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA).
The Wolves (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record.
