Iowa High School Softball - Moravia gets by Montezuma
June 21, 2025: Montezuma, IA 50171 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) and the host Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA), observed Moravia's softball team get by Montezuma by a final score of 8-7.
The Mohawks (7-19) will now prepare for their bout against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league bout with a 13-3 record. In their last bout, Southeast Warren tipped East Union (Afton, IA), 17-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Braves battle the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Monday, June 23. Montezuma will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Warhawks go into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 5-3 league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA).
