Iowa High School Softball - North Mahaska gets by Montezuma
June 2, 2025: New Sharon, IA 50207 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) and the visiting Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA), observed North Mahaska's softball team get by Montezuma by a tally of 5-4.
The Warhawks (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Tigerhawks go into the South Iowa Cedar bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Colfax-Mingo was nipped by Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 12-10, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Braves battle the H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Tuesday, June 3. Montezuma will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 11-8 league win over Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
