August 5, 2025: Elberton, GA 30635 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) and the visiting Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), observed Elbert County's volleyball team top Johnson by a count of 2-0.
The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Athens Christian dropped by Monroe Area (Monroe, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 7. Johnson will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
